We have a nice challenge this week at Flutter By Wednesday and it's to bring attention to a wonderful non-profit organization called Butterfly Kisses. There's more information about this on the Flutter By Wednesday blog. I had already made my card before knowing the full details behind Butterfly kisses.
I fell in love with this set from Verve Stamps, Blue Skies. I love the sentiments that are with this set. I know with my trials for my family the last two years, I found the words to be very truthful. Sometimes life is hard to get up and dust yourself off. You might not feel brave going about your struggles, but honestly, sometimes just getting out of bed is a very brave thing to do! (Coarse, if you're really down in the dumps, you might look a little scary too! LOL!)
Be sure to stop by the Flutter By Wednesday blog to see what else the design team members made. It's always worth the trip, talented ladies over there! Be sure to link your creation after you've created it as well! Thanks for stopping by!

Flutter By Wednesday 194, Send A Smile 4 Kids, For A Child.
Today we are focusing on Send A Smile 4 Kids. You can read more about it on the Flutter By Wednesday blog. Than to joining in that effort, we are challenging you to make a card for a child this week. Don't forget your butterfly, fairy or angel on your card! I thought of my little Gabi when I made my card this week. She's not so little any more. Just about as tall as momma, and still pains me to say she's not into pink any more. she doesn't take dance any more either....lives on Facebook instead. Mercy, time does fly! But in my heart she's still my little five year old who love pink, glitter and wants to be a ballerina! So, my card is totally made with those things in mind.
This sweet image is from DigiDarla, it was a freebee a while back, and I can't seem to find the direct link to put here. She was fun to color, and thought it was perfect for this week's challenge! I went a little heavy on the stickles, because what little girl doesn't love glitter?!
Be sure to stop by Flutter By Wednesday to see what the other designers came up with, and find out more about Send A Smile 4 Kids.

Flutter By Wednesday 193 , Spring Theme, Robin's Fettish
Happy hump day! Does it seem like weeks just fly by, or is it just me? Time to flutter over to flutter By Wednesday. This week we have the challenge of spring with either a butterfly, angel or fairy on your card. We have a wonderful sponsor as well, Robin's Fetish. They have a challenge blog you can find here. I colored in cutie Babette the bunny. She's perfect for spring time, isn't she? Reminded me of Easter growing up. My mom must have kept us stocked with coloring books. And this seems like a perfect Easter bunny! Can't wait to see what you all come up with for the theme. Don't forget the fairy, angel or butterfly. Make sure you link your creation on the Flutter By Wednesday blog, and hop over to see the other design team members came up with you for today as well!
