Mojo Beanie...

Ok, this has got to be the cutest image! My sweet friend, Tammi, surprised me with a few images. I seriously gasped when I saw her. I wasn't expecting them, and she was so sweetly cute looking! Anyhow, tried my hand at a circle card tonight. It's the Mojo Monday sketch. I had grabbed this pack of K and Co Christmas paper last week. I love the colors in it! Festive and fun! All came together to make an adorable card! She's colored with stickles. I cut out my circles using Sure Cuts A Lot.

Party Time Tuesday #11.

It's Open Challenge for the party today at Party Time Tuesday! My card is for one of my favorite people! I made this card for my sweet friend, Jennifer. Her birthday was Aug 1st, and her favorite color is electric blue. I'm not good blues, but TAC has this great paper line called Lilly Anna, which has bright blue, pink, green and white in it. So, I grabbed it to make her card. I had shown her my first easel card a few months back, so I knew I wanted to make her one of those. I followed Sweet Spot Sketch #67 for the front of her card. I used one of my Greeting Farm stamps, Stella, cuz my friend has sassy short hair like her. I paper pieced her outfit from the tags that comes with the paper pack. Added some stickles, and smooch to her lips.
Be sure to pop by the Party Time Tuesday blog to see what the other team members made for today! That'll get some creative juices flowing! Or you can click on their names to the right on my blog lists. We'd love to see what you create so make sure you link back up to the blog so we can pop over to your party!

We also have a guest designer with us each week this month. This week it's Jan. Be sure to pop by her blog and say hi, and see what she's created for the Party! She's got some darling cards and projects on her blog. It'll be worth the click I promise!

OH! I have to share this. No idea if I'm the last person to figure this out or what, but I came to it by accident. I had used my Martha Trellis punch to punch the white sheet for the inside of the card. I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do, but wanted to layer it with some pattern paper. So, I looked at the scallop part, and wondered if one of my just scallop punches would fit. Go figure, the SU scallop punch is the exact shape as it. So, it layered under it perfectly. I'm sure someone knew that, but I didn't! Glad I tried it!
Supplies: nesties, copics, Martha punch, SU punches, SU cardstock and ink, Greeting Farm Stella, Verve birthday stamps, TAC Lilly Anna SWIC, and ribbon, primas, scrappers floss.
Thanks for stopping by! Make sure you drop by the Party Time Tuesday blog and join the party! It won't be the same with out you!

One Christmas Card Down....

Wow...I'm pretty far behind! I played Sparkle's Christmas challenge, and had so many by this time last year! Guess I need to get working on them, huh? Anyhow, had to play some challenges this morning. I saw a wonderful sketch on The Sweet Stop. Isn't it a lovely sketch? So easy to do and so pretty too! I made this card larger, 5.5x5.5. Don't do square cards often. But this gave plenty of room for embellies, and show off that lovely Basic Grey paper. Than at Anyone For Anya it was Christmas in Aug. So, that worked out perfectly because I had been hording those flowers, and that darling winter stamp set from CC Designs last year, and hadn't made a card with them yet. So sad! Anyhow, I did the dazzling diamond technique for the snowflake, and the Cranberry Crisp that she's sitting on.

Than I paper pieced her clothes. I get she's totally in some crazy patterns. When my friend was visiting a few weekends back, she commented on how boys are wearing crazy plaid shorts, and striped shirts all the time. So, she was thinking they matched! LOL! I totally agree, cuz Trey's dressing like that, and I swear, like all the boy shorts in stores are plaid! All I'm saying loud is totally in! She's fashionable! LOL!

Dancing Mojo

Been a wet day here in VA. The grass has been enjoying it, because we've been pretty hot and dry so far this summer. So, I took the kids to see Avitar, The Last Airbender. We really enjoyed it! Trey really liked all the action from the Airbender. Gabi thought it was okay, but I think she was being difficult because the brother wanted to see the movie. You know how it goes with siblings!

Anyhow, came home and did some stamping. I'm telling ya I really like this new set, Blue Skies, from Verve Stamps. I played along withe Mojo sketch today. I'm trying to use some paper lines that I've been collecting and not using up. So, this is Eva from Basic Grey. Such pretty rich tones. I went a little light with embellies, because the paper is so pretty. I edged the ends with Brilliance ink, to give it a soft shimmer in person. I thought Rain from The Greeting Farm was perfect for the sketch, and the sentiment I picked out to use. Don't they go wonderfully together?! I added Glaze to her boots, and stickles to her umbrella, and hair pins.

Party Time Tuesday #9.

It's Tuesday! You ready to make a birthday card?! Mine is uber bright! Fun colors, huh?! I think you might need shades to check it out today! Today is an open challenge at Party Time Tuesdays. Means just make a birthday card, with sentiment on the front of the card. Than link it up at the blog so we can come by and give you some love! Make sure you check out the other team members, by either clicking on their names on the right of my blog or going to the Party Time Tuesdays blog. I love seeing all the different cards each week! And let me say, nice not to have to run around like a crazy woman to make a card when there's a birthday party to go too for the kids or I've forgotten someone's birthday, and need to get one in the mail. If you know you have someone's birthday coming up, it's nice to have it made ahead of time just for them! No matter your reason, just make sure you join the party!

For my card, I used a bunch of neglected stash today. I got this pack of paper last year from Michaels. I'm not sure if I've even created with this darling stamp from the Greeting Farm. She seemed summery and French. Kept saying Ooo-la-la when I was coloring her! I cut out her bow, her cute self and popped them out. Added stickles to her dress, and hat. All around fun card! I tried out sketch from Mercy's Blog. This is her sketch 82.
Thanks for stopping by!

Fluttering Birthdays.

The kids have three birthday parties this weekend. Sat down last night to get a couple of the cards knocked out, instead of waiting til late Friday night! New concept for me! This card is heading to Gabi's friend who is turning 10. She looked sweet and sassy like her friend does. I had to play along with some challenges on my first card.

This is Flutter By Wed challenge for paper piecing.

My other card is heading to a sweet little girl who we've known for a long time. She's turning 6. Into bright colors, so I had fun making her card. I used all scraps on this card. Left over from scrapping lately. I've had that stamp for too long waiting to be inked up too. I added paper glaze to the cupcake to make the icing look shiny.
Supplies: PTI Raspberry Fizz cardstock, ink, Martha Punch, nesties, copics, primas, stickles, smooch, Basic Grey Paper, DCWV Blossoms

Because They Said So.

Saw a fun challenge at Club Anya. Since I have two little people, both wanted to pick out supplies to make a card. And they picked out stuff that was totally different from each other! Just like they are in person, go figure!

Gabi is beyond girly. So, she had a great time picking out bright girly papers. And bring on the bling is her personal motto! She grabbed the bling, and told me to add flowers. Her card was easier to pull together. I used the Mojo Monday Sketch 137 for her card. I love how it turned out. I popped up her flowers, and hair bow. I thought since I was making it for Gabi, it should go to Gabi, when she's not expecting it, so I used a sentiment on there that's perfect for her.
Than Trey went the total opposite direction! I handed him boy colored papers to look at and was actually expecting him to pick out some of my surfing/summery styled papers. But nope, he came back with Halloween. I just looked at him....Halloween?! Yup! Than when I was talking about embellies...he said blue flowers. (Me in my head...Um... Blue flowers and Halloween? That's gonna be hard! So, Halloween card it was, topped off with blue flowers!!) I don't have a lot of guy images from The Greeting Farm, so he picked the owl out. He was thrilled with the end result of his card. I'm saying, Halloween card with blue flowers...that is a scary card! I do think it turned out cute, the flowers totally don't match, but it made him happy, and that's priceless! I followed a sketch challenge at Club Anya for his card. I popped out the owl's eyes, and beak.

Teacher Card, and Gabi's Card.

Teacher Apperication was this week, and Trey had a field trip. So, I've been super busy tending to things. This was a card I made for another one of Trey's teachers. I love seeing June Bug paper used, but I seem to struggle more with those bolder bright colors. I got the sketch off Taylored Expressions.

My sweet Gabi made a card for her teacher. I've been busy this week and haven't had time to post it. She was so excited to get the card made, and wanted to make sure that I took a photo where I take my card photos. And she wanted to make sure she read the "reviews". Thought that was so cute! So, here's her card for her teacher for Teacher Apperciation. Her favorite thing to do was punch out the butterflies. She went crazy and punched out a bag full after she finished her card. Child is too sweet!

Thank you and scrapbook page.

Today was a fun day. Went Strawberry picking for the first time ever with a friend. The kids had a blast. I'll have to make a scrapbook page with those photos later! Even had homemade strawberry ice cream while we were out there. Ate a ton of berries too!
Did some thank you cards for Teacher Appreciation this week. This one is for Trey's teacher.
She loves the color yellow. I normally struggle with that color, but man, I love this card! I think it turned out so cute! I use Basic Grey's Lemonade paper. I had picked up some new stamps recently from Hope Stamps Eternal and was excited to play with them! She had a sale going, so make sure you go peak it out if you haven't yet. I got the layout off Amy R's blog. Loved this layout. It's got layers, which I love, but was still good with being a little simple. So, I'll be using it again! I paper pieced her dress, and ribbons. I added some pretty bling to it. Love the red shoes. Reminds me of Dorothy! This set of stamps is so cute from The Greeting Farm. I'm dying to play with the rest of them still. The sentiment is from The Angel Company.
Took these photos of the kids at a new local park. It's a nice walk along some of our local creeks. It was a nice spring day. Snapped a few, against Gabi's wishes. Trey was very open to it, and was a good ham! Gabi had to be coxed into it, and urged to smile. I hope she's not reaching that age where it'll be harder to get good photos of her! I thought the CC Spring Fairies was a perfect match for the page. Love how this page turned out.

Oh, Yeah!

Can you believe, two posts in a row?! Seems like ages since I did that! Its amazing how much you can miss something when you don't do it for awhile.
It's taken me forever to ink this cutie pie. My sweet friend, Debbie, sent it to me forever ago, and life being what it's been, I finally inked it up! How cute is she?! Than I saw this sketch challenge over at Club Anya, and had to play along. This isn't my normal color combo, but used this paper line from Basic Grey because of the funky green paper. Thought it looked a little cool, and would go well with a Chelsea as she's rocking out to her ipod. Reminds me of my friends in 8th Grade listening to their Walkmans. I remember how big of a deal it was when they came out with the ones with auto reverse so you didn't have to flip your tape around.
I added stickles to her shirt, and her eyelids. You know a cutie like that loves bling!

Mer Ian

My sweet friend, Debbie, told me I needed to jump on this challenge today. Both her and Tammi made some darling cards today using him. Good way to get me to create something since I've been slacking, and looks like it'll be a fun venture this week. Be sure to check out The Greeting Farm to find out more details about their CHA Relay and your chance to get some free digi images. I'm still having a issue getting my printer ink not to smear. So, some spots smudged, and I couldn't blend other areas well enough.

I followed a few other challenges making this card.

Pile It On, Warm Wishes. How sunny is Ian?

I followed the Sweet Sunday Sketch. First time playing there. What a fun challenge too.

Stampin' Bee's Nautical theme.

Dare U 2 Digi stamp challenge to use buttons. Worked perfectly because Ian is a digi image!

Cool Blue!

Mercy, I love this card! Seems like forever since I was able to stamp. Busy with the holidays and Gabi's birthday. We were able to give her a very memorable 10 year birthday. Not only did she get to do a night at the Great Wolf Lodge, we took her to American Girl and Bistro for a birthday shopping trip. She loved it and went crazy in there. She was able to pick out a new doll, and got Elizabeth. The place is so cute, both dolls ate at the table with us! Such a fun day for us to share together.
Amazing how quickly life gets sometimes, as I can't believe I haven't been on here since last week! I was able to squeeze in quite a few challenges on this card! And man, does it look great because of it! I love playing along with the challenges, and am so thankful that so many talented people put them on line for me to play along! I snatched this Greeting Farm set at Rachel's Store when she was having a fun Cyber Monday sale. Grabbed a few more Greeting Farm stamps from her while I was there. I popped out the hand muff, the cuffs of her boots, and cut and glue the ear muffs down. They looked weird popped out. The glitter part is made out of white fun flock, and green glitter.

Here's my challenges:

Pile It On: Flowers and Flourishes.

JUGS-Sketch.

Cute Card Thursday-Swirly Girly!

La La Land-Buttons.

Cupcake Inspiration Challenge-The cool blue and the snowflakes were part of my inspiration.

Pink Elephant-Favorite Coloring Medium-Copics.

Ooh La La-Child's Card. My 10 year old daughter loves this image, and all the bling! This will go to her 10 year old friend for Christmas.

Farm Fresh Friday-Color Combo-Baja Blue, Kiwi Kiss, Chocolate Chip, and White.

Gotta show off my kid for a moment too. She created a card for her friend whose party was today. Sadly, the little girl fell at the skating rink, broke her leg and ankle in the fall. Right as the party was getting started. So, the poor thing left to the hospital, came back right before it eneded to open some gifts, and say bye to her guest. I felt so badly for her. Than my sweet kid wanted to come home and make her a get better card! I'm guessing we'll work on that tomorrow. I helped color the skin on her card, and helped glue it down.

Supplies: Copics, Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses, stickles, Martha glittler, SU cardstock-choco chip, baja breeze, choco chip ink, Greeting Farm stamp, nesties, CB folder, fun flock

Anya's Cheery on Top Blog Hop!

I'm so excited to show off what I created for the blog hop! I literally threw a party after I made all my little projects! After signing up, I started to think about Anya's birthday bash and wondered what is a perfect theme for someone turning one?
I thought a zoo theme was perfect! Then I realized I have my own zoo in my house already! My house has been taken over by Webkinz! My kids adore Webkinz and I had been wanting to scrap them a page about it for awhile. From there, I decide we're gonna throw a party!
I used Wild Things stamp set to create the zoo party theme! Now, you'll be a guest at our party with the furry Webkinz friends, showcasing this adorable stamp set from The Greeting Farm while we celebrate Anya turning one! Make sure you check Club Anya and The Greeting Farm for the full list of Hoppers today!

What party isn't complete without a lovely cupcake? We had two big, beautiful cupcakes on hand. Zero calories to enjoy this cupcake too! The cupcake is provided from a very neat Cupcake Box Template by Keileigh Ratzlaff. This was my perfect center piece, and topped off with a cheerful animal on top! This perfect cupcake sparkles with it's sprinkles!

Than a party has to have games! We have Tic Tac Toe, Three Monkey's in a row! I made the game for them, and all the animals were happy to get a chance to play! I even laminated it for years of playing with both the animals from the party, and my two old animals! I think this will be a perfect item to take to restaurants!

We gave them each some lovely party gifts. As amazing as this is, Webkinz love certain types of candy. And yes, you guess it, while shopping for school supplies the other day, we went into the candy isle to grab some of their favorite treats! Lucky for me, they love liquorish! Another fun party gift was a fab bookmark for each attendant! Complete with their names! I also laminated them, so they'd not get torn up while they enjoy reading to their little furry friends who can't read yet!
We made an extra set of the goodies, because Gabi was so excited about it all, she told her best friend, and her best friend wanted a set!

As you can see, all the party guests had a wonderful time! I hope you enjoyed yourself at our little party today! Please come back and visit with us very soon! I'd wait until all the animals come off their sugar high!

Supplies: The Greeting Farm stamp set, copics, Nana's kids DCVW cardstock, nesties, primas, stickles, SU sentiment, SU word punch windows, SU scallop punch, shimmerz, eyelets, cropadile.

Snuggle Farm Fresh Friday

I colored in this adorable image that my sweet friend, Tammi, sent me yesterday. I didn't manage to get a card completed between dinner out, getting Gabi to/from dance, and a quick dip in the g-pool. I had all the papers out, and was trying to figure out a layout when I stepped away from the desk. So today I saw on Sparkle's blog about the FFF challenge, and it was a sketch-we know I'm addicted lately, so that completed my card today. And isn't it a darling one?! Thank you so much for the image, Tammi!
I used K and Co Brenda Walton paper-so pretty, and it matches the new SU color Razzleberry, and PTI's Ocean tides, and either SU Old Olive or PIT Avocado cardstocks, on this card I used Razzleberry, Ocean tides, and Old Olive as my base. It also used nesties, primas, shimmers, stickles, Martha's punch, Razzleberry ink and copics.

Polka Dotted Mojo Monday

Good afternoon! All done with t-ball games! Had such a fun time watch Trey play! His team came in second, and they were undefeated until yesterday, and lost two games in the challenge game. We had beat the team at 2, but than lost back to back at 5:30 and the game afterwards. But they played so well! And he so made his Momma proud! I'm missing cheering from the stands, and I have to wait until the fall!

But that opened up my morning for a few challenges. Did two on this card. The Mojo Monday sketch, and The Greeting Farm Fresh Friday, which was polka dots. So, there's dots on four of my papers, flower, brad, ribbon, and even the buttons! The buttons are from Michael's and are an accessories to the paper line Sabrina, which has been clearanced. Oh, and even my image has dots!
I added shimmerz to her basket and eyeshadow. Some stickles top off my flowers. The basket and flowers were cut out, and layered on the image. Her bangs were cut out and popped out.
Other supplies: SU Pretty in Pink cardstock, copics, nesties, SU new word punch window, TAC retired sentiment, primas, Q and CO brad, scrappers floss, Greeting Farm image.

These Boots are Made to Shimmy!

Real quick post today. Gabi's got dance soon, and I gotta get dinner going. I spent the morning painting Trey's room. He's been stuck in Winnie the Pooh land since he was born, so it was time to update his paint! It had a blue sky, and a green sponged grass area. Perfect for Pooh and Friends, not so much for an almost seven year old. He's saying he wants surfing stuff. Sound be interesting! But the painting is taking forever, and I'm not finished.

I had a happy surprise in the mail today! My good friend, Kim, surprised me with some images. Thank you so much, Kim! Made my day! She sent me this way cute Greeting Farm image, and Surfing Ian too! Maybe I can make something on his wall with that! She also sent a cute Magnolia! So, I had to color something! I grabbed this cutie, because it reminded me of Gabi. I had to make the hat and boots pink, because my darling daughter lived in pink cowgirl boots, and hat to match! I had to show off a photo of her about 2 years ago wearing her pink bling cowgirl hat! I followed the Midnight Madness Sketch, so it enabled me to have a quick cute card. I used Basic Grey's Bittersweet. Can't you just picture a cute floral shirt on a cowgirl? Thanks for looking! Now off to cook that girl some dinner!

Basic Hello

A little birdie told me about a sketch challenge called Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge. Thought I would try it out today. Gotta love the name! LOL! Those who love sketches, like my friend, Kim, should totally check it out. Today I grabbed a set from The Greeting Farm. I fell in love with after seeing Tammi use it, and she was sweet enough to send me some images. Had to have it after she did that! A true friend is an enabler! LOL! Anyhow, I tried to follow the sketch as closely as I could. I ran into an issue with the bottom right. Wasn't sure what I wanted to do there! That took the longest time to complete! I used Basic Grey's paper line, Bittersweet. The buttons are also from Basic Grey, but I can't think what line. I added some stickles to the flowers, her buttons, and the little lace on the bottom of her dress.
I had a close up of the image but my desk top decided it didn't want to finish uploading. It's stuck on wanting to quit MSN, and actually closing out the program.

I used copics: hair-blender, E57, E77, basket-E37, E35. dress and socks-RV000, RV34, R85, face-Eooo, Eoo, E11, R20. tulips-R32, R29, leaves YG63.
Other supplies: nesties, Hero's art sentiment, EK punch, SU Rose Red, Chocolate chip cardstock.

Mojo Greeting

The Mojo Monday sketch is a fun one this week! I pulled out a Greeting Farm set I recently picked up at Rachel Hope's store. Such a cute fun set! Grabbed that DCWV paper stack that I had to have, and whipped up this cutie of a card. I believe the paper stack was Animal Crackers. The cardstock base is PTI Pure Poppy. I think this is becoming a favorite red of mine! I'm not digging my coloring so much on here. I think I didn't have my pen wet enough or something. I didn't go with the copics, because I wasn't sure I had enough browns to color all the animals. I topped it off with some stickles, ribbon and brads.

It's a Jungle in here!

I stayed home today instead of helping out at the kids school. Everyone is scared of me! Go figure, got a funky throat, and they all act like ya gonna kill them or something! LOL! Test came back positive for strep. Oddly, I'm happy about that, because it means I can fix that quickly with some good germ killers! Thanks for your well wishes and sweet comments to my last post! Thinking tomorrow, I'll be feeling tip top, and can't help at school, because I won't reach 24 hours with the antibiotics, so I'll have a lot of free time tomorrow! Woo hoo!
Today in my spare time, I stamped! I've talked about these two paper lines before from DCWV. One is Animal Crackers, the other Green. I had to use Green after we had Earth Hour on Sat. I almost thought about making the card by candle light, but I'm sure that would have been scary! It got made today. I used Forrest Friends from The Greeting Farm. This would be one of the Mastercard cards, cost more because I had to have the papers that were on sale! Now, I hope you can see enough of the background paper, do you see how cute those animals are? Don't you think DCWV should have made stamps to match? Doesn't the set from The Greeting Farm go so well? To cute, huh?! I popped one out as well as the acorn. Added some shimmerz, and stickles. Used Amy R's sketch from last week. The metal tag I got from a girl's crafting set on clearance at Target. They were full of tags all about being Green. Perfect touch for this card.
The bright card I started weeks ago. I had the papers pulled out, but never finished the card. Got that done today. How fun are these papers? They are the Animal Cracker line. This set has glitter on them, not sure if you can see it on the crazy pattern sheet, I tried to turn it to show it better. I love the bright colors. And look at the little monkeys at the bottom...love them! I was wishing I had some brown fun flock. I've seen so many of the monkeys with that on there, and it's the perfect touch.
Supplies: DCWV Green, Animal Crackers, and cardstock, SU Tangerine cardstock, nesties, prima flowers, lyra water color crayons, Greeting Farm stamps, shimmerz, blingz, stickles, scrappers floss.
