Distressing Magnolia

I've been working on a project this week for the Anya Blog Hop, so I've not had time to stamp outside of what I was working on. I can't wait to show that off tomorrow, cuz I threw a party when I finished it up today!

Since I was all done, it meant I got to play the Just Magnolia challenge. And what a challenge it was for me! It was distressing. I struggle with that style. I love seeing cards made all nice and shabby, but it's so hard for me! I completed my card though! I also did another challenge with this card. It was get fruity off Cute Card Thursday. My papers have fruits on them. Shockingly, I had no layout challenge on my card! I do love those lately.

Supplies: Magnolia stamp, copics, primas, MS punch, dew drops, DCWV Summer Stack, glimmer mist, nesties, scrappers floss, SU So Saffron and Cool Carr. cardstock, close to cocoa ink pad, stickles.

A call for help-Thanks!

ETA: Thanks for the tips, ladies! I got the link now! Thanks a ton! Gotta love bloggers!

Okay, I need some help. I did that Stamp out Alzheimer's thing not to long ago, and was given a free down load of a 3D cupcake. I can't find the sucker on my computer at all. I see the zip file, but I can't locate it or get my computer too. I was wondering if any of you know what I'm talking about and where I can purchase it at. I can't recall the name of the girl who made it, I think it said Kelleigh, but not positive, to look her up and find it. Can anyone help me? Please! I'm dying to have it for a project.

Happy Mojo

Here's my take on the Mojo Monday sketch. I combined with a few other challenges today.

Pile It On, water coloring. I water colored my grass and sky.

CCEE Stampers challenge, which was flowered paper, and one brad. I just gasped, thinking I forgot the brad! It's in the flowers!

I did the Cupcake Craft Challenge, which was pink, green, brown, animals and flowers. I went with an image that was an animal with a flower! This was given to me by Tammi. Isn't it a cute cat?

It's also Bee Crafty for summer fun. The kittie is dressed for summer in her bright pink shirt, and gardening with her little flower pot!

Supplies: nesties, copics, primas, gems, basic buttons, Basic Grey paper, SU rose red, choco chip cardstock, rose red ribbon, SU sentiment, SU word punch windows, scrappers floss, stickles.

Bright Christmas Bear

I had to giggle to myself when I saw the Cupcake Inspiration Challenge today. What fun colors! And I just knew I had the perfect Christmas paper for those colors in her cupcakes. I love bright colors, and I've been playing Sparkle's Christmas Challenge for a few months now, so my brain goes to Christmas Cards on Sunday. And those cupcakes were perfect with my holiday papers!
Today's card also covers a few other challenges. It's the Pink Elephant Challenge, which was animals. I got this darling image from my friend, Tammi! Thanks so much Tammi, I loved them all! It's also the sketch for Our Creative Corner. 2RedBananas had a challenge to spell it out. I did two in one with the stickers, I spelt it out, and used a sticker as part of Sparkle's challenge today. We have High Hopes, which is bling! I'm covered on this one with glitter galore! Finally, Secret Crafter was to use three buttons, one ribbon and two designer papers.

Other supplies: Copics, fun flock, SU glitter, Martha glitter, SU sentiment, Word punch window, Ballet blue, green, but can't remember which one, DCWV papers, nesties.

Thanks for stopping by!

Sunny Magnolia

I think I might have beaten Debbie! Woo hoo for me! (Nope, I just copied her blog to link it, and saw she put up a card already! Good for her!) LOL! I had to get up early with the puppy, he woke up at 7:00, and all I could think about was to go check out the Just Magnolia challenge to try to get it done before her. But I was too tired to get up stairs! Once I started this card the glass man came to fix a broken bay window. 500 bucks later, I can see clearly now! Hubby will be happy when he sees it when he gets home tonight.
Anyhow, this is my take on the Magnolia Sketch Challenge this week. I used Basic Grey Lemonade, SU Rose Red, and So Saffron cardstocks. I grabbed this Magnolia because it reminded me of my friend, Kim. The sentiment is from Pink Cat Studios Summer Lily set.

Other supplies: SU word punch, stickles, copics, prima flowers.

Danni Fluttersby

This stamp is a new Elisabeth Bell stamp from Susana's store, called Danni. Danni hosts the challenge Flutterby so I thought it was a perfect choice for that challenge. I had planned on playing yesterday, but took the kids to Water Country on the spur of the moment for the day. Had a wonderful time up there with friends, so I never got around to stamping yesterday.

For Flutterby Wed the challenge was limited or no pattern paper, and make a scene. I pulled out some neglected CB folders, since I wasn't using pattern paper. Than at Three Clovers it was to use bling, never a problem for me. I've got stickles, pearls and shimmerz on here. On Cute Card Thursday, use eyelets. I got my layout off Stamps and Smiles. At Dutch Dare the challenge was to use dies or punches. I used a nestie die, Martha Butterfly punch and a Fiskars punch on the edge of the choco chip cardstock. My color combo is from Color Throwdown, which was Cert. Celery, Choco Chip, and Perfect Plum.

My image is colored with copics.

Dude!

Those who know me well know that's a perfect title for me! Today's card covers a few challenges.

It's the sketch from Sketch and Stash. Billy is a new set, uncut. The paper is DCWV, from my stash, cardstock is also from my stash.
At CCEE, it was to make a summer card.
At Pile it on, an orange card.
At Flourishes Timeless Treasures, to use shimmerz. My waves are covered in it, as are the doggies glasses, and the blue line on the surf board.
At Spoonfull of Sugar, it was swirls. There's swirls with the waves and I stamped in Night of Navy on the back ground paper, and the edge with Swirlies from TAC.

Other supplies: Copics, nesties, SU's Surfs Up, SU Inks: Only Orange, Night of Navy, dew drops.
As always, thanks for stopping by!

Elzy Sparkles

Here's my card for Sparkle's Christmas Challenge. I do love to play each week, and have gotten quite a bit of Christmas cards done already. This week she gave us a challenge to use stripes on our card. She had a sketch challenge up a few weeks back but due to Trey's Tball schedule, I wasn't able to play, so I used that sketch this week.
I also did Rachel's Cupcake Inspiration Challenge. For her challenge on this card, I pulled the blue as my starting point for the card, the circles on the plate are followed up in the circles on my ribbon and layers of circles on the bottom. I selected this Elzy stamp because of the holly on top of her head, like the flower on the cupcake, and gave her brown hair, from the bottom layer of the cupcake. I didn't overly bling up the card with embellishments because of the clean and simple look of the cupcake.

Gotta toot my horn a second, I was picked as one of her top fives last week! Mine is the bottom card on the right hand side. That's too neat to get two top fives in one week! It's a great feeling knowing other people are enjoying my little creations! Thanks, Rachel!

Supplies: DCWV cardstock, and paper, Elzybells, copics, shimmerz, stickles, nesties, TAC Goodies stamp set, SU Real Red, Ballet blue ink.
Had to add that my friend Barb has some Blog Candy up. She's a real sweet heart, so make sure you go check that out!

Just Jack

One of Gabi's dance instructors is having a little boy in Sept. His name is gonna be Jack, which is a nickname for John, which is her husband's name. She's doing his bedroom in a sea theme, so I whipped up his name as a baby gift. I've been working on it all morning. I hope likes it. I didn't bling it up too much, but added buttons, and sea charms. The wood ornaments I found pre-painted at Michaels, and added them for an extra pop.

Neat!

I just got a cool comment on my blog by Rachel, and I had no idea! How cool is this?! I'm so excited!

Whatever!

I used an image my friend Debbie sent me a few weeks back. I had this TAC sentiment for ages, and thought it went perfect with this image! I used the sketch from Sketch Saturday, and did the challenge off Our Creative Corner today, which was a triple play with embellishments. My paper pack is Carolyn Gavin by K and Co. I used PTI Raspberry and Ripe Olive and Ocean Tides card stock. My other supplies include nesties, stickles, crystal effects, buttons, scrappers floss, and brads. Thanks for stopping by.

I have blog candy up. You can view it here.

Pretty Basic Magnolia

Here's my card for the Just Magnolia challenge for the day. It was to use buttons! Not sure if Debbie beat me today! I got to jabbering on the phone with a friend, and lost track of time! I also tried used the sketch challenge on Amy R's blog, but having just peaked at it again, I forgot the sentiment, and I flipped the ribbon from her sketch. I used Basic Grey's Bittersweet because of the hearts in the papers, and hearts on the image. I colored with copics, added some stickles to her.
Thanks for stopping by! Don't forget, blog candy up for grabs! Please click on this to put your name in for it!

Snow Birds

Hope you all aren't getting tired of seeing these cuties. Yes, Debbie, I saw the Christmas ones! I grabbed a set of them too! LOL! I purchased them off this site in the UK, Rachel. She had super fast shipping. I saw a set of them off Sugar Nellie, thought they were so cute, but at the time, they were out of stock, so I googled it, and found them there, and got three sets! This is one of the images from one of the Christmas sets.

On to the card. I did a few challenges on this one. I'm becoming a serious fan of doing several challenges at one time. The layout is from Stamps and Smiles. I did a Christmas in July challenge found at Cute Card Thursday, and also at Three Clovers Designs. At Colour Create the challenge was blue and white, which went perfectly with the holiday theme of my card. And finally, at Dutch Dare they challenged us to use punches or cutting dies. I used nesties, and a MS punch for the snowflakes.
This card is full of bling. I used DCWV Christmas Glitter stack paper, glitter paper from Target for my snowflakes, and Martha glitter on my image. I also topped it off with stickles and shimmerz. They are colored with copics.

**I have blog candy up for grabs. You can get to it by clicking here. I think I might even have to stick some images of these cuties in the package with the other goodies! Seems lots of you like the images as much as I did!

Mimi Love

Oh, goodness, I think these stamps are so stinking cute! This is from the same set I used yesterday, which are Doodle Fairies by Buzzcraft, which are overseas. Just darling images! Anyhow, this is my card for Flutterby Wed, which was pink and brown, also used the sketch from Midnight Madness Sketch. Can't say enough how sweet the ladies are over there. You need to check them out if you haven't. Also, she's got a big blog candy up! You can view all that by clicking on the link above. I used TAC's Mimi paper pack, which is retired now, because they have a new improved version of it. Now sure it needed much improving, because the papers rock, but the newer version is double sided. I added stickles, and shimmerz to my little fairy. Parts are cut out and popped up. My cardstock is pretty in pink, pink piro, and close to cocoa from SU. I used nesties to cut him out, and topped off with some flowers. I colored with copics.

Oops! Just remembered, I had messed up and thought last week's challenge was a sketch challenge, only it was buttons and bows. I meant to put some on this card, and totally forgot!

Thanks for stopping by, and be sure to enter for some blog candy that I have up for grabs. You can click here to get to that post.

Total Cuteness!

Mercy, I saw a new type of stamps on Sugar Nellie that I thought were so cute. So, I did a search and found a store in the UK that sold them, and I brought three sets! They were so cute! They are called Fairy Doodles by Buzzcrafts. They arrived super fast too! Gotta like overseas shipping that is quick!
I have been wanting to play Flutterby Wed all week. It was hosted by Michelle, who I have gotten to know recently, and a sketch challenge. So, I finally got it done today.

I combined that challenge with a few others, Pink Elephant was where I got my color combo. I used some old, very old Basic Grey papers. I think I've had this pack for over 3 years! Even cooler that the paper pack comes with some tags, as the challenge on Flourishes Timeless Tuesday was to use a tag. I used SU's Brocade Blue, Ruby Red, and Bordering blue cardstock. I topped him off with shimmerz, and stickles. He's colored with Copics. The sentiment is cut out with SU's word punches, and the sentiment is from TAC's How Swell.

Thanks for stopping by, and I have some blog candy up. You can click here to see it.

Mojo Fairy

Here's my card for Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge, and Ann's Creative Nook, which was to make something with wings. I used the Lily Fairy set from Pink Cat Studio, and SU's Razzleberry Lemonade paper pack. Cardstocks are black from PTI, and Crush Curry from SU. She's topped off with stickles, and pearls. I added some gems to the ends, and used an EK punch. She's colored with copics.
Copics-E11, 000, 33, 57, 37, 35, RV06,02R20. V09, Y16, YR04, G07, G14.

I've added another post above this one for some blog candy. Be sure to check it out by clicking here.

Two Cuties!

Made another card today, so this is my second post today. This one covers a few challenges. It's the layout for Pile It On. From there I added more sugar to my card! I did Cupcake Inspiration Challenge. This also works for the Farm Fresh Friday Challenge. I pulled the colors from the CIC photo. I had more pink in mind, but once I started to color, the softer colors in my plaid paper kinda took over. I grabbed my DCWV Sweets stack, because the cupcake was such a sweet, and soft cupcake. With the FFF, I used two of their stamps, three punches-two word punch and corner rounder. I wonder about this, do nesties kinda count as punches? They do cut out shapes. I was just wondering what folks thought about that. I also added bling, both shimmerz eyeshadow and bling brad. My paper has glitter on it.
Thanks for stopping by!

I plan on posting some blog candy tomorrow! So, make sure you stop back by to check it out!
Other supplies: copics, nesties, primas, ribbon, SU sentiment.

Sparkling Penguin

Here is my card for Sparkle's Christmas Challenge. Today it was a sketch challenge, with another one to use five papers, two embellishments, and two stamps. I have used at least five papers, and my two stamps are an Elzybell stamp, and a sentiment from TAC's Tagtid bits. My gifts are cut out and popped up, except the bottom gift, which is just taped on. I colored him with copics, and topped him with stickles. The papers are from DCWV, Christmas stack, SU Cranberry, and Cert. Celery cardstock, and PTI's black cardstock.

Thanks for stopping by!

Stylin' Magnolia

You all remember me winning that way cool blog candy off Midnight Madness, I picked out some new Magnolias and they arrived this week. This is one of them. I love long hair on little girls, so just about all the ones I grabbed have long hair. I wasn't able, or should say didn't have the mojo yesterday to do Cute Card Thursday, which was a thank you card for a teacher. I thought this Tilda would look so perfect to be dressed in plaid-and she did! I grabbed two packs of Basic Grey today, June Bug, and Lemonade-thanks, Kim! And stay tuned, I grabbed another Lemonade pack for a blog candy I'm getting ready to post soon.
I used June Bug on this card, and SU Ruby Red and Old Olive cardstock. I followed the sketch on Just Magnolia, and I think I beat Debbie today, but gotta post quickly to make sure! I also tried another challenge I saw on Pile It On, called Use It. They had a challenge to use two punches-those are my SU word punches, texture-flowers, ribbons, and buttons, favorite paper company-lately, I'm in love with Basic Grey, and a bonus to use a pearl, which I topped her hat with one! My sentiment is from TAC, and I colored her with copics.

Beautiful Spring Day!

Man, didn't this card turned out so pretty?! Such a pretty color combo! It feels like a beautiful spring day! This card is for the Whiff of Joy Challenge for the day, which is a sketch challenge. I tried a new challenge today called Color Dare that I found off the Pile it On blog. I didn't have any Mellow Moss on hand for cardstock, so I dusted some of the other cardstocks and papers with my ink pad.

Other supplies: SU sentiment, SU word punch, regal rose, pink piro cardstock, primas, SU felt flowers, buttons, Martha punch, K and CO Brenda Walton, copics, stickles. Copics-skin-E000, E11, E93, clothes-RV21, RV13, RV10, E50, E51, hair-E47, E37. Thanks for stopping by!

You're A Star!!

I found out about this blog, Pile It On, from Alanna's blog on Sunday. I tend to try to do more than one challenge per card, when I do one, so this was a perfect site for me to discover! So, I checked it out right after posting on Alanna's cute Christmas card. She plays on Sparkle's challenge on Sunday too.

Than came today's card. I peaked on the Pile It On, and flipped around to some other challenges, some that were new to me, and pulled off five challenges on this one card! Woo hoo for me!

I did the Star and Stripes off The Pink Elephant. I cut out my flower and star for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge. My layout is from Midnight Madness Sketch challenge. Pile It On had thier own challenge, which was three embellishments. I used scrappers floss, ribbon, stickles, glitter, brads, eyelets, and prima flowers. Finally, Spoon Full of Sugar was to use hearts on your card, I used two heart shaped brads on my card. That challenge also made me think of Debbie, who loves to put hearts on her cards. Whew, that was a lot, huh? Had a blast doing that though!

My image is from Sugar Nellie, borrowed it from a friend months ago, and just now colored it. Forgot it was stamped in palette, so I couldn't blend too well, because it bleed in a few small spots. The sentiment is from Elzybells, and is punched out with both SU's word punches. The card stock is Razzleberry, and my paper is from DCWV, winter pack.

Abundant Mojo

This one took me awhile today! Always good when a challenge is a challenge, right? I used TAC's More Abundance, and Willoughby paper pack. The cardstock is PTI Old Olive, and their dark brown color. My ink colors are SU's Baja and Choco chip. I brushed my flower with blue shimmerz, and topped it with a gem. The punch is the new SU word punch.
Last night Maxwell was too cute. I have a mirror from a bathroom remodel in my dinning room, which is never used for that purpose. I use the mirror to help Gabi with dance routine practices. He kept thinking he was seeing his siblings last night, and playing with the doggie in the mirror. So cute! Kids have worn him out today!

Sparkling Elzy and Max

Today Sparkle had a layout for us to use for her Christmas Card Challenge! Love having the layout done for me! I had picked up a bunch of Elzybell stamps in June because of her running some specials. So, I figured I'd use one of those new stamps. Had a hard time picking which one to use. I ran into a problem with her hair line, colored too deep, so I gave the girl some bangs! I paper pieced her jacket. Reminds of something Gabi would totally wear. The more bling the better! I had the snowflake buttons on hand, and they matched the paper from DCWV perfectly!

I swear, you gotta love nesties. They just cut things so nice and perfectly for cards! Makes it so much easier, I kept wondering what I did before I had them, because I sure do use them a lot!

Other supplies:Martha punch, DCWV cardstock, ink from Michael's, copics.

And we picked up a new family member today. We've been waiting to take one home for a few weeks now. I would have taken two, but Paul thought that was a bit much. So, we brought home one today. Trey has named him Maxwell! So, Meet Maxwell! Gonna make for a cute scrapbook page! He's sleeping right now, exciting day for him, I'm sure. We adopted him, so I'm not sure what his breed is, and all that jazz. He's currently a calm little chap, but I'm sure once he's feeling more at home, I'm gonna see a different doggie! The cats are just now figuring out he's here, and thankfully, he's mellow right now! Give them all time to adjust before he's active.

American Woman

Goodness, I'm so happy with out this card turned out! I don't think I've ever made a red, white and blue card! This uses the sketch from Sketch Saturday, bonus to do red, white, and blue, cuz it's our Birthday! And the challenge for Just Magnolia, which was to use a charm! And Debbie killed me this week, because she posted her card a day ago! I just got mine done! LOL! My sweet friend, Tammi, sent me this image this week, and how cute is it? I colored her with copics, and used some papers I've had since last year. I still need to scrap my Forth of July photos from last year! Which is what the paper is for! Maybe I'll get that done this week! I love the new SU word punch window, which layers perfectly with my old word punch window! My cardstock is from DCWV. Other supplies: prima flowers, EK punch, SU Brillant blue, SU punches, stickles, crystal effects, scrappers floss, TAC sentiment, and charm.

Copics:skin-E000, 93, 11, hair-Y00, 08, 02, unbrella-O, B29, 39, E08, clothes-R29, 27, C3 outline, and water is C1.

Thanks for stopping by, and Happy Forth of July! I hope everyone has a fab day! We're having a cookout with friends, followed by fireworks!

Snuggle Farm Fresh Friday

I colored in this adorable image that my sweet friend, Tammi, sent me yesterday. I didn't manage to get a card completed between dinner out, getting Gabi to/from dance, and a quick dip in the g-pool. I had all the papers out, and was trying to figure out a layout when I stepped away from the desk. So today I saw on Sparkle's blog about the FFF challenge, and it was a sketch-we know I'm addicted lately, so that completed my card today. And isn't it a darling one?! Thank you so much for the image, Tammi!
I used K and Co Brenda Walton paper-so pretty, and it matches the new SU color Razzleberry, and PTI's Ocean tides, and either SU Old Olive or PIT Avocado cardstocks, on this card I used Razzleberry, Ocean tides, and Old Olive as my base. It also used nesties, primas, shimmers, stickles, Martha's punch, Razzleberry ink and copics.

Copics-skin-E000, 00, 93, 11, hair-E35, 31, 33, clothes and bunny-BG10,23, RV000, V000, RV10, C1

Woo Hoo!

Dudes, I told you all about a Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge, and played almost every week in June, except this past week due to my busy schedule. Anyhow they had some awesome blog candy up, and I won! Totally WOO HOO, right?! So, this is a big scream out to them if you all haven't checked them out yet! They always put up a fun layout challenge, so give them a peak! Plus, the ladies over there are so sweet!
