Pile It On #38 Cute and Charming

We had a fun sponsor this week at Pile It On. Some darling digi images from Dragon's Lair, Stamping Dragon Designs. I was torn with what image to use, because I really loved George and the Dragon, and the image I used reminded me so much of Gabi. I mean, that bear is so stinking cute! Turned out the horse image worked better with my challenges, so I used her. But I heart that George image! Be sure to check out the Dragon's Lair, as there's tons of fun stuff stuff from digital papers, to artwork to look at!

Happy 29th...Again.

This stamp is too stinking cute! I love the expression on her face. TAC has a darling sentiment to go with her in this set, but she was screaming to be made into a fun birthday card about refusing to grow older. I had to make a fun little sentiment to go along with it.
I know, I've been slacking on the blogging lately. I've been busy with a few things, cutting vinyl at Trey's school for different display windows, painting Gabi's room, which turned out so pretty, and even stamping a border in her room. (But can't put up photos of that until I add what I'm trying to add with her vinyl in there.) My neighbor fussed cuz nothing new had been put up, so here's a new card! It was made for Party Time Tuesday's during it's little break. We'll be back the beginning of Oct, so there's birthday cards ready to go on Tuesdays again.
Anyhow, hope you like my cute little card! Thanks for stopping by!

Lili Of The Valley 63.

My friend, Tammi, sent me this darling image from Lili Of The Valley. Okay, they have some wonderful images, if you didn't already know that! She sent me some super cute ones to play with, and yea, I'm gonna have to place an order soon! I used this one because it make me think of my brother, who I recently just saw in Atlanta. They have a wonderful sketch challenge that ends tonight, so I decided to play along. I pulled out Reese paper from TAC, and loved that the pack comes with tags already. So, I simply used a Verve sentiment from their Star Of Wonder set on the tag. Both went together perfectly!

Supplies: SU Cranberry Crisp cardstock and ink, Reese SWIC-The Angel Co and ribbon, LOTV image, copics, nesties, stickles, Verve stamp, scrappers floss.

Bessie Sketch.

Cute card for today! My friend, Tammi, had sent me this cute Stamping Bella image, Bessie Lulu, a while back, and finally colored her in. This card is going to my friend who loves the color red. I used the sketch from Sketch Sat. Used Basic Grey's Boxer paper. Colored with copics, and added primas and stickles. She's tilted a bit odd...need to fix that. Cardstocks, and ink are from SU.

Kids start school tomorrow! Hard to believe how fast the summer has flown by! Will have some more scrapbook pages from our hike in the GA mountains with their grandparents in the next few days. Hopefully, anyways. Sometimes life gets busy with dance, baseball, and school functions when they start back to school.

Warm Fluttering.

Had some time to create yesterday. We got back in town on Wed night from my Dad's Memorial Service to Earl heading our way. Packed up the back yard and got prepared for him to blow our way. Appears to have blown out to sea with only dumping a little rain our way. Meet the kids teachers yesterday, our school starts on Tuesday, and am so happy with their classrooms this year. They both have some wonderful kids in their classes, and Trey's teacher is one of my favorites so I'm very excited about the coming year at school!
I had to play along with Flutterby Wed. They had a sketch by Mercy, and I do love sketches! Danni and her team are having a big birthday bash, so make sure you pop over there and take a peak at what they are up too. I pull out my Mariposa paper from DCWV. Had some scraps left over from the book marks I made, and some canisters I redid for the kitchen. I wish I would have taken a before photo of them. They were done in a vintage tea theme, off white, and brown ink on them. I used a sweet Elisabeth Bell image from Susana's store. I'm sending this to my Mom. I'm sure as the house has quieted down from guests coming to the service, she'll have too much time to think about stuff. She breeds birds, so I'm hoping she'll like the cages on the paper.
Thanks for stopping by.

Digging the Cricut.

I talked awhile back about going on a dolphin tour with my neighbors. I had so much fun putting this page together. I used Life's A Beach cartridge. I had a blast layering the dolphins. Do you see the one jumping thru the O? How adorable is that?! I loved how the page turned out so much, I had to go show it to my neighbor as soon as I finished. I said she had to love it because her kid was in it! Her cutie pie is the little blond haning out with Trey. It's a fun, bright page, if I do say so myself!
My camera cut off the corner of the page. Was too lazy to take another photo of it! But I promise, I didn't chop Gabi off! It was really cool because the lady working on the boat came and gave the kids a personal little speech about the dolphins. Than I love the shot of Eleanor and Trey under the front of the boat. The papers are from DCWV Summer stack.

Another thing I'm having a blast with is cutting vinyl with it. I added this butterfly sentiment to my bedroom. It's takes about 2 feet or so above my dresser. I had a great time picking the fonts, and butterflies. If you notice one of the butterflies is the butterfly from My Time Made Easy. I purchased it from her, and was able to send it to Sure Cuts A Lot, and cut them out. Super cool! I love what that machine can do! I know I'm just touching the tip of it, but have really enjoyed playing with it and designing things. I used both the Sure Cuts A Lot and the Design Studio for that project. The swirly butterflies were from Home Accents, and the font from the 'utterflies' is from the calligraphy cartridge. I really like the welding aspects of the software's. I use that feature all the time to make words instead of just letters.

Thanks for stopping by! I hope you enjoyed both of the projects today!

American Girl Style.

Gabi loves her American Girl Dolls! My ILS live in Atlanta, and there's a store near them in a local mall, and the Bistro. For her 10th birthday, she got to go have lunch, and pick out a doll. Her Grandma, Greatgrandma, and me went with her to celebrate. I saved the guys from having to go join the world of dolls! It was also the Sat after Thanksgiving, so you can image how busy the mall was! Gabi had a blast! The food was super yummy! If you ever go, get the pretzel!
It was darling how they had chairs for the dolls. They even had little place settings, and muffins for them to dine on. She took her first doll with her, Nikki. Than while she was there she picked out Elizabeth, Felicity's best friend. Both sat at the table with her. Very expensive birthday, but I guess they only turn 10 once, right?
Naturally, Gabi loves this page. Not only is it pink, it's got bling on it! The title is cut by the Cricut. Told ya I'm using it a lot! The paper is Blossoms and Butterflies from DCWV. I got the stickers from Michaels. The sketch is from Jeanette Lynton's Image book.
