Today was Trey's first t-ball game! It was scheduled for last week, but we got rained out. Today was lovely, but oh, chilly! The temp wasn't super low, but it was windy. Gabi stepped out in short sleeves, capris and flip flops. That girl froze, but that'll teach her to listen to Mom when she says pants and long sleeves!
Daddy is his coach. Being from Atlanta, we're the Braves! The photo to the side is them right before the game is starting. I had to get one shot of them together today. I've never watched a t-ball game, and it was very enjoyable! The kids are so cute trying to listen to their coach, mom/dad on the sidelines telling them where to toss the ball! Trey got off some good hits, so that was exciting to watch. You could see him putting in his all when he ran too. He did get out once, because they tossed the ball to his base before he got there. So, I think he made sure to run faster the next time he rounded bases to keep from getting out! There's several kids on the team that I know the parents, so it was nice being able to relax and talk. I think Trey enjoys it more than soccer, because he's little, and doesn't have bigger kids coming at him trying to get the ball from him! Today he played short stop, outfield, and first base. They do our t-ball with four innings, everyone bats, and no score keeping. It's a good learning tool for them before they go into coach pitch when they turn seven.
Tonight at Midnight, I think it's tonight, is a blog hop for some TAC demos on Paper Wings. We're using stamps with scrapbooks. One of my favorite subjects! So, be sure to come peak at their creations using TAC stamps. I'll have their blogs listed on my post appearing tonight.
