Today is Wed, and that means Flutterby Wed on Danni's blog. I hadn't used my Swinging by Lily, so I grabbed her and some new papers I just got in. Oh, my! Fun colors! They're by Pink Paislee, and it's the Pop Fashion Collection. Looks like Spring! I have a birthday party for a little girl in May, so this card will work perfectly for her! I was a little disappointed, because my ink smudge with the copics. I used Palette Noir, and GP paper, so I'm not sure why that happened. I'm sure someone will be able to give me some tips on that. But that was making me grumble a little! I used the SCS Sketch Challenge 224.
One of my favorite things to do with packs of papers that have a little index of the sheets in a small scale is to take a punch to them. I use a corner punch like this all the time to use with my scrapbooks. I used a Martha Stewart punch on this strip of paper to get matching butterflies without eating up sheets of paper. Those little index areas are perfect for things like that.
Other supplies on this card: shimmers, stickles, nesties, gems, Martha punch, DCWV cardstock
