I made a card out of the other TAC Gerbera Daisy I colored the other day that wasn't right for the paper line I had planned to use. It ended up matching Rustic Chic, another TAC paper line. Funny how things like that happen sometimes! I was happy to discover that, so I whipped it into a card this morning. Even managed to put a sentiment on the front. I never seem to have room for sentiments or seem to find ways to put them on there where they look like they are in the right place. Such a hard concept for me! I have enjoyed coloring that daisy in with the copics.
Last night, I wanted to try to move onto a more complicated stamp with the copics, so I pulled out True Beauty from Serendipity to work on shading. I love this set, it's so pretty. This time I did use Angelee paper line. The photo is weird, because my butterfly isn't that purple in real life. Not sure why it's photographing so differently. I added the buttons which there are a lot on there for me! And they're not straight, funny, cuz there's stripes on the paper, and I still got them going sideways! Hee hee! I'm such a spaz! And of coarse, you can't see it when the glue is wet, you notice after it dries! I was trying to try the layout that Kim had on her blog last week.
