Bye Bye Dear Friend

My neighbor had to put her dog down this weekend. He's been around for 16 years, so you can image the grief she's feelings. I made a simple card for her. So hard to know what's the right amount of stuff on a sympathy card. I had gotten PTI's With Sympathy set, and the Pet set when my ILS cat died. My sentiment is off, I hate when that happens. I didn't notice until I was too far into the card. I used TAC's Penelope SWIC and DCWV cardstock. And it's made with all scraps! Another one down on Barb's Challenge to use scraps! It's hard to see in the scan, but I used TAC's swirlies on the background, stamped in haystack. The doggie is a GWP stamp from last year's catty. Other supplies: EK punch, stickles, ribbon from Michaels.

Two more quick notes: The blog hop is tomorrow AM, I was confused on some midnight thing. So, be sure to check for links to that tomorrow morning.
And Trey wasn't sick, I forgot to post about that! Thanks for the concerns and well wishes for him!

This is a great sympathy card. They had their dog for a long time, that must be hard! We just watched Marley and Me the other night - good, but sad!

It's tough to lose a pet, and wow after 16 years! I really like that sentiment, a nice and thoughtful card Anna.
