This stamp from TAC is one of my favorites for learning new coloring techniques. Naturally, I pulled it out the other night to practice with the new Copics. This was a good learning exercise for me. I discovered a few things; I need to print off that sheet to show the colors, I don't like the darker shades of gray as my outline, and due to that blunder, I'm not a whiz with the blender! Let me state, I think the card turned out lovely, but where I started and where I ended up was caught me off guard! My plan was to use Angelee SWIC, but my pinks were too bright for it. Than I outlined it with one of my grays, and thought for sure I ruined the image. So, I stepped away for the day, and came back to it. I found a new paper line to use, it's a retired line from TAC designed by Mabelle called Bella Flor. I tweaked the layout that I used the other day from Sheet Load of Cards. Added some gems and stickles. Even tied a bow! A major undertaking for me! So not a bow tie-er. How do you even spell that?! I'm just stubborn enough to go try to make the card again, to get the colors right for the Angelee papers!

I think that it turned out great! I actually like the dark grey outline - it makes the pink really pop! Perfect paper to go with it too!
Oh this is pretty!! Copics do have a learning curve, huh? I have many images that have started out one way in my mind but turned out a different way!
I like this though, very nice!
It turned out really pretty! That's the great thing about copics, there's lots you can do with them...I layer colors, use the blender, layer a color over that...just so many ways to color!
What a fun and cheery card!
You silly girl - this card is delightful! I love the colors AND the gray - you did a great job!
