Need More Sugar?

I just ordered my first ever Sugar Nellies, so here's some more sugar today if you didn't get an Easter Basket, or have no kids to steal chocolate from! I just love those images that Elisabeth Bell creates! Such sweet images! Being Sunday, it's Sparkle's Christmas Challenge. I fell in love with Demure, and had to use her today for my Christmas cards. Than during my blurfing today looking for a layout challenge, I found a new blog, called Sheet Load of Cards. New to me, not new in general. Gotta pass this along to my MIL, as she'd find it very useful. They had this cool thing with a sheet load of cards based on one layout. They even gave you the measurements for the cards. Reminded me a bit of one of my favorite books I use to scrap with sometimes, and find it helpful with layouts. Very cool concept, and cool cards to look as well! I used their layout on the cards today. On the purple card, I flipped the sentiment placement.
I used DCWV Christmas Glitter stack for the green card. I found the sentiments, which are slips of papers, flowers, and buttons at Target on clearance, it was a little kit that came with a but of little things for scrapping and stamping. The little sentiment strips were perfect for both cards. The cardstock on the green card is wild wasabi. I messed up her face a little. I had it just right, touched it, which messed it up, and than I kept trying to fix it! Which only made it worse!
For the purple card, I used TAC Penelope SWIC. Close to Cocoa ink is brushed across the edges of the papers, and Demure. Both cards have stickles, and were colored with water color crayons.
I hope all the little ones had a fab Easter! Kids were so quiet this morning, it almost felt like they were at school! Guess that meant they liked what was in their baskets! Gabi was funny last night. She'd tied her basket to the bed, she has a loft, with a jump rope, and left a note. The note was for Trey to keep away! But image how fun it was trying to undo that last night when the Easter Bunny discovered she'd tied it! So hard to be nice and quiet when the Easter Bunny's knees crack! Surprised she didn't wake when the bunny entered her room!
