Scrapping Stamping Blog Hop

A group of TAC demos on Paper Wings got together for a blog hop using stamps with scrapbooks. In short, we're scramping for this blog hop! Be sure to check the bottom of this post for their links to go see what they've come up with as well. This is one of my favorite uses for stamps, I use them quite often in my scrapbook pages, and included some links to pages I've put on my blog in the past.
I love being able to make the stamps match my papers or theme, because sometimes you can't always find what you want with stickers. For example, my daughter, Gabi, just about always wears pink. I know an outfit will be a big hit if it's pink, so we buy pink. Christmas doesn't always go well with pink! Stamps make it so I can make the stuff match and work well with my pages.

Case in point, this page, I use Pop Rockz for my pages. I have kids dressed totally differently, as often happens with boys and girls! I'm pretty matchy-matchy with colors in my scrapbook pages, so it's hard for me to just ignore what they're wearing when I scrap. Plus, I like bold, colorful pages, and that makes them busy sometimes, so the less contrast I have, the better!
Out of my stash, I felt the Pop Rockz paper line had enough different colors in it to work with Gabi's colors in her hat and jacket, and not make Trey sound out so much. Tutti Fruity would have worked well, but I don't have that SWIC. I used the black and grey from his clothes as my accents, with the base cardstock being grey, and black for a lot of my accessorise. I stamped Swirlies p. 21 IBC around the different areas to bring out more black. I used sentiments from Forever Family p. 15, This Girl p. 79, the tab above Trey on the first page says "giggles and grins" from this set, but it's not showing up well. The stamp on Gabi's bottom left on the right page is the lower part of the heart in Forever Family. I cut my heart and swirl apart, giving me two stamps, not one, and used that for that photo corner on her. Some of my accents are Round loops p. 86, mini file tab punch p. 115, scrappers floss, black p. 111, photo turns p. 111, inks Noir, and lavendar sachet.

Be sure to check out the other Angels doing the hop...
Here are some other links to scrapbook pages I've made using TAC stamps. The papers might not be TAC's as I love paper, and buy a ton of a lot of different places.
This is one of my favorite pages ever. It uses Squiggle Lady bugs, and running stitches.
This one uses Give Thanks.
Last week I made a page for Gabi's Nutcracker performance using Just Dream.

Great pages, Anna!! LOVE that you cut apart the heart stamp to get a two-for-one... we are kindred spirits! Love all of the photos (cute kiddos!) and especially the 4-square block you created with the button.
