Holiday Mother's Day Card

I did a two-fer today! It's Sunday, and one of my favorite challenges is Sparkle's Christmas Challenge. Today's challenge was to use dry embossing. Also, figuring today is Mother's Day, I went with my TAC Snowman Nativity set. I was thinking Mother Mary is a pretty important Mother to a lot of people. Than, I hadn't tried Amy R's Friday Sketch this weekend, and this worked perfectly for her sketch on Friday. Added a new set of Christmas papers I found at Jacksonbelle's website on clearance to the card. Perfect for a Holiday Mother's Day card! I even pulled out some scraps, the embossed snowflake sheet is one I've had done forever, it's sprayed with Glimmer Mist, so hard to photograph that stuff. But it has a nice shimmer to it.

I hope all you moms out there have a special day today. Hope everyone gets spoiled rotten! Nothing big planned here today. We're going looking at Camcorders. Trey has a speaking part in his school show on Tuesday. Boy is quiet as a mouse at school, so I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes! But our old camera is blurry, so I want to upgrade. Next month Gabi has her dance recital, so I'd also like to tape her practices. We can't tape the live show. The kids made a bunch of fun stuff at school for me. I love stuff like that from them. Paul made me a card. Love when he does that! Will have to post photos later.
