Sugar Baby Mojo

I hope everyone has a lovely day today. We live in a big military area. We have an Army base or two, the Navy, two Airforce bases, and Coast Guard in surrounding areas. It's also so nice to them in uniform walking around town. You can feel the difference when they are called to serve our country in far distance country. My Grandfather was in the Navy, and my brother was a Marine.

Our first grade recently put on a show, and it was about being a proud American. They sang a song that had all the songs to the branches of the army and made those who had served or are serving stand up. It was so cool to watch the pride of the children when their parent stood up, and they knew the song that went to their branch. Makes ya get that lump in the throat when they sing songs like that.

Back to the card, this was another image sent to me by Linda. Thanks, again, Linda. I thought it would go perfectly for today's Mojo Monday sketch. I used Pop Fashion from Pink Paislee, SU Rose Red cardstock, and the blue cardstock is from PTI. I used my copics again to color. Thinking I'm not getting away from that medium any time soon! Naturally, topped her off with some stickles and butterflies using Martha's punch. Icky, the close up shot makes the white gel pen look awful! I had a hard time getting the ink to flow well, but it doesn't look as badly as it does in the close up shot.
