Catching Dreams A Day Late.

I started a Flutterby card yesterday, but had no time to finish it. I finished it up today. Danni put out a challenge to use a sentiment or quote on the front of the card. Always a challenge for me! I never seem to leave room for a sentiment! But I think the card turned out lovely. I used TAC's True Beauty and More Abundance, one of my favorite sentiment sets. I used K and Co Wild Raspberry papers, and Kiwi SU cardstock. I used Flower Soft for the first time. Gotta work on that product. Not sure I like it with the image I used. Cool product though. I also The Art Institute Glitter, and added some glitter to the card. It really sparkles. I liked the glue, and the extra fine tip with it. I had to buy the tip, it doesn't come with the glue, but did fine it was perfect for getting into small spots, and the glue dries white.

Than for my birthday, my friend, Tammi, sent me this darling image. Thanks, Tammi! I knew as soon as I saw it that it would be a perfect card for my FIL. Both of my FIL's fish, or like to fish. One of Paul's sets of parents are coming up this weekend, and the other set is coming up the first weekend in June. Both FIL's have birthday's coming up. This one's birthday is late May, so I got the card done, so we can give it to him this weekend. How cute is this image though? I used a sketch based off the Sketch and Stash blog. I flipped the sketch to fit the direction of my image. I didn't get the scallop part on the bottom of the image, so it's not an exact layout challenge. But fun layout on there if you haven't checked it out yet. I may have to try again later with it. This card is also bigger, due to the image size. I added some glaze to the frog, fish, and stars. I used Green paper pack by DCWV. Thought it fit the fishing theme well. My cardstock on this card is PTI Ripe Avacdo.

Both images were colored with copic makers.

Very pretty flutter by card! I need to order that set. I've used the flower soft once, I think it's something you have to play with some.
The other card is cute! When is your bday??
